
Semtex originally is a printed paper magazine. We started out back in the days in the hc/punk scene, I guess it was 1997. Our first issue came out in 1998.
#1 (1998): Spineless, Blindfold, Shortsight, The Misfits, Skater profiles etc.
#2 (1999): Boy Sets Fire, Enemy Of The Sun, Reiziger, 365 Days In A Week etc.
#3 (2000): Man vs. Humanity, Leiah, Grade etc.
#3.5 (2000): Split issue with Yoda; Neverending interview and a lot of columns. Totally made in one night.
#4 (2001): Children Of Fall, Vuur, You And Me zine etc.
#5 (2001): Punk And The Digital Aesthetic, The Truth About Coca-Cola, Shora, Yage etc.
#6 (2002): Quetzal, Highscore, Reno Kid, Ache Records, Diary Project I etc.
#7 (2004): Kid Commando, Amen Ra, John Wiese, Seripop, Cursive, Lost Film Fest, Diary Project II etc.
Our latest issue is #7, released July 2004. It is sold out, we're sorry.
No release date planned yet. We're not sure if there's going to be another printed issue of Semtex. At the moment we fully concentrate on the website.
