Who Calls So Loud from San Francisco are Matt & Dave from Funeral Diner and recruted two other friends for the new band. Who Calls so Loud kinda continues where Funeral Diner stopped. The songs are epic, raw and melodic. Naturally the music will remind of Funeral Diner, yet ... Who Calls So Loud will have less screamy vocals and some noisy indie rock thrown in. Don't be scared - cause those songs will hide in your ear with those tiny little melodies you will never forget.
PENGUINS KNOW WHY (b)
Living in some rural part of the country does strange things to a person's mental health. So what else can you do to keep sane, than vent all your frustrations through the sound of guitars, bass and drum. That's exactly what Penguins Know Why do. And quite succesfully as well. Not only did they win De Beloften contest, but they managed to deliver 5 very nice tracks on their first EP too. The Sonic Youth influence is obvious. It's clearly stated in a writing on their myspace, and in half the tracks, the influence is unmistakenly spot on. Penguins know how to blend their musical influence with their own brand of melodic riffs and minimal beats. And their able to change it into a freak session without any hitches. Resulting in nicely crafted songs in the best postpunk/indierock tradition.
LOSER LIFE (us) (Life Is A Rape Records/Magic Bullet Records)
Hailing from Bakersfield, California, Loser Life hones their Articles of Faith/Leatherface brand of melodic and aggressive hardcore. Fuelled by all the anger and frustration that comes with growing up in a hostile and ignorant hicktown, Loser Life conveys a certain sense of urgency that many of their fellow Chicago style hardcore worshippers lack.
WHEN WE FALL (swe) (I For Us Records / the Emo Foundation)
When we fall was brought to life in Gothenburg the fall of 2003 by five inspired souls from different parts of Sweden. Their music is filled with energy, melodic guitars and varied vocals from bittersweet to a screaming rage. It’s a wide spectre of melody, melancholy and aggression leaning onto the personal lyrics. Their first Ep “a cry in despair” was released by the Swedish indie label, Emo foundation, the summer of 2005. The same Ep was later re released by the American based hardcore label, Panic records. “we untrue our minds” is the name of When we fall’s full length album which will be released the spring of 2008.
This band has to be seen live because of their intense live performing. It is passionate, expressive and wild from the second they enter the stage until the last chord is strummed.

Members of Cut The Shit / Bones Brigade. Blasting full on with ferocious speeds, bombastic and unrelenting drumming, and hard as fuck breakdowns that will have you wanting to punch greedy white "suits" square in the fucking face. Hardcore at its most incendiary, this band merges straight edge with volitile politics.
