MIKE PATTON & MELVINS CURATE NEXT ATP NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS!
All Tomorrow’s Parties takes great pleasure in announcing that the next curators for the Nightmare Before Christmas this December 2008 will be Mike Patton and Melvins. Both are hugely influential, innovative and vital productive forces, and we're very very pleased to be able to present performances from both as well as a fantastic bill of artists picked by them. The event will take place December 5, 6 and 7 at Butlins Holiday Camp in Minehead.

wij zouden gaan naar ATP en zijn met 3man.
geen chalets meer voor 3man, enkel nog 4,5en6 personen.
dus als er liefhebbers zijn, laat asap iets weten op xxx voor het he helemaal uitverkocht is
600pond voor een chalet van 4personen is circa 200euro per persoon
ferrie kost circa 60euro (totaal) heen en terug.
1200km (totaal) à 15cent/km = 180euro
ik schat een 300euries, reis heen en terug en ticket.
mja, 'k ga toch passen dan vrees ik! veel plezier in ieder geval, 't zal wel awesome zijn! ik ga me tevreden stellen met de show in de vooruit :-)

* TEENAGE JESUS AND THE JERKS - first European show in 30 years, a ‘Re-Animation’ of the band featuring Lydia Lunch, original bass player Jim Sclavunos (Bad Seeds) on drum and Thurston Moore (Sonic Youth) on bass.
* BOSS HOG – the return of this garage rock band fronted by Jon Spencer (Blues Explosion) and Cristina Martinez (Pussy Galore). Their first activity under this name for seven years.
* RAHZEL – Legendary king of beatboxing, ex-member of The Roots and collaborator with Bjork, Mike Patton.

Christina .. echt lang geleden. Zou me verbazen als ze er na die jaren nog altijd zo hot uitziet, maar het mag uiteraard. Van Lydia weten we 't al :)
Veel dingen van en voor oude mensen, mss moet ik toch nog maar's gaan.

the contortions hebben toch ook terug getourd...DNA beloofde van nooit een reunie te geven.
lydia heeft als eens nummers van teenage jesus herspeelt met "the willing victim" (met o.a. signorelli,kyzis, westberg)...maar dat was dan meer een ode aan haar eigen.
jammer dat ze er geen nieuw geweld tegenaan gooien. het beginnen allemaal wat op nostalgie trips te lijken. tenzij er geen nieuw geweld meer is natuurlijk, dat kan ook...
en ondertussen dank zij postbode isa het no-wave boek bekeken. die eerste foto...wat een bende snotneuzen...
